Raise Awareness of Environmental Issues
Sponsored by the Connecticut Songwriters Association and other concerned groups and individuals
Seeking Songs that Inform and Educate About Important Environmental Issues
The Top 10 selected songs will appear on a Compilation CD to be released by CSA.
The Top 10 Winners are invited to perform at an
Environmental Awareness Concert to be held
September 10, 3-5pm at the historic
Coogan Farm Nature & Heritage Center in Mystic, CT

This is a totally volunteer-run, non-profit songwriting contest. CSA is a 501(c)(3) charitable
organization. All proceeds go toward prizes and to benefit CSA's education outreach programs through music.
( CSA is one of the oldest and most active songwriter organizations in the U.S. Founded in 1979, CSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to improving the art and craft of original music. CSA has run or participated in many songwriting and performance competitions across the U.S. and internationally. CSA's current President is Grammy-winning songwriter Bill Pere, who is the author of the industry-standard songwriting guide "Songcrafters; Coloring Book" )
